Eating Out on Christmas Day
If cooking a Christmas family feast doesn’t appeal and you would prefer someone else to do the hard work on Christmas Day, have a look at our guide to London restaurants opening on 25th December. If one of them takes your fancy, remember to act quickly and book your place.
Daniel Boulud’s restaurant in the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park is offering a three course Christmas dinner for £70 per person. Despite its location within one of London’s grandest hotels, Bar Boulud has a relaxing, informal atmosphere, which will lend itself perfectly to a cosy festive meal.

Not everyone likes a traditional Christmas dinner so an amazing Indian meal in The Cinnamon Club could be the answer. Carefully selected cocktails and spice-friendly wines are included alongside the Christmas menu. Choose from the likes of Keralan lobster soup flamed with brandy, Bombay style winter vegetables, clove-roasted goose breast and tandoori Portobello mushroom. Although the fare is a far cry from turkey with all the trimmings, there are some nods to festive traditions throughout the menu. Christmas Day at The Cinnamon Club costs £75 per person.
