If any of the following spark your imagination please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Elaine, St Johns Wood
Elaine was a newly arrived to London American mother with her own business. She felt overwhelmed by everything which needed to be done. Within a month her new home had been repainted, her garden landscaped and everything unpacked and in its rightful place. Now we are working on the paperwork for her business, ensuring her receipts and invoices are uptodate and making travel arrangements and appointments so she has more than ten minutes to get from one to the other on the opposite time of London.

Alan, South Kensington
For Alan we are his extra pair of virtual hands as we provide him with a PA from our offices. We maintain his website, his blogs, his tweets and follow up with everyone he meets at the many networking events he attends.

Dennis, Golders Green
Once a week, we go to Dennis' home to provide, as he calls it, Girl Friday help: we do his correspondence, filing, invoicing and helping with any paperwork associated with his both business or his personal life.

Anna, Islington
Anna is a long-standing client who has been with cushion the impact  almost from the start. She owns a portfolio of properties throughout the country and uses our services to manage the day-to-day running of the properties. We are the tenants' first port of call for any queries. We also liaise with estate agents when tenancies end. Anna also uses our services for her personal use. We collect her mail when she is on holiday and have helped organise holidays and parties.

Bea, Barnsbury
We helped arrange Bea's hen party for which we suggested and arranged an afternoon of learning circus skills. The honeymoon in Ladakh we organised was a huge success and we were delighted to hear that their first baby was on the way (we were of no help with that part of their plan!). We now help the young family to research baby stuff, found pregnancy yoga classes and organised a decorator to create a nursery out of a study.

Ellen, Notting Hill
cushion the impact provides Ellen with vitual assistance along with onsite personal assistance, helping her at home office with her personal and work based administration, maintaining her diaries, processing her expenses and preparing for seminars and conferences.

Janette and Ken, Edinburgh
This couple live in the city but have a holiday cottage in the central Highlands which they use but also let. As busy professionals they were struggling to find time to organise the bookings. We set up an online calendar to keep them in touch with which weeks were booked or available and we also manage the payments and the general management, maintenance and upkeep of the property leaving them free to enjoy their time at the cottage.

Edward, Belsize Park
Edward is an American Ex-pat new to London. We helped with the has-to-be-done bureaucracy and paperwork but also the nicer things in life like theatre tickets, restaurants reservations, sightseeing throughout the country. We also organised a trip to visit his grandfather's grave in Normandy.

Ian, Hampstead
Ian works for a large accountancy firm and is one of our long standing clients. The work we have done for Ian ranges from general administration to helping him move house - from organising the removal company, to packing, to printing and posting change of address cards, arranging utilities and everything else involved in a relocation. We helped set up his new home, arranged his parking permit, organised carpenters, builders etc for refurbishments, and had new curtains made and installed.

Sarah, Queens Park
Sarah, a single mum, and her children moved from Germany back to London. We arranged the move and initial temporary accommodation. We researched houses to buy in her desired area of Queens Park. With two children and a job she needed us to support her in many areas such as researching a nursery for her youngest child and getting her older child enrolled in the local school. Sarah did most of her furniture shopping online and we arranged payment, delivery and putting together of the flat pack pieces. Now that the family has settled in we take care of her monthly paperwork and day to day household management.

John, Livingston
John started using our services to make sure his home life was organised. He was newly divorced with two children so we came to his aid by organising a cleaner, babysitters, activities for the children but also making sure all his bills were set up correctly and paid on time as he was often away.

Elena, Edinburgh

Running her successful business meant Elena let her personal life drift so we organised her paperwork, setting up an easy to use administration system so receipts, invoices and bills could be easily filed and later accessed. We also make monthly restaurant reservations for Elena and her partner and regular suggestions for weekend away both with and without their three children.

Stuart, Fulham

Stuart uses us regularly to suggest, buy, wrap and deliver presents for his wife. We have also arranged for his entire vinyl and CD collection to be uploaded onto his iPod and on another occasion for all his father's collection of slides to be converted into jpegs and stored on DVDs.

John, Clapham
We process John's monthly expense account for work. He has also used us to organise holidays, flights, car rental, tickets, a campervan for a festival, and to buy last-minute gifts for family and friends.

William and Sandra, Canonbury
William and his fiancee recently moved into a new home, and we sourced the suppliers needed for the renovations. We researched and booked their honeymoon trip, and arranged their Valentine's trip to Bruges, including a reservation at a Michelin starred restaurant.

Jenny and Harrold,  West Hampstead

Jenny and Harrold are clients for the second time round. They used cushion the impact when we started. In the meantime they moved to Australia for a few years. Before their return they asked us to help look for a house to buy. As both work from home, the brief included office space and an area to welcome clients. We put together a selection of suitable properties and the couple, still abroad, chose two they were interested in. We arranged a video conference with the estate agent and a virtual tour of the properties. A couple of weeks later Jenny was able to come to London to sign the contract on one of the suggested properties. She returned and left us with instructions to organise everything for them to move in within two months. We set up utilities, received their furniture and personal possessions shipped from Sydney, put away their belongings, made sure the fridge was full of fresh food and a bunch of flowers made them feel at home when they arrived back in London. Now we're organising the house warming party!
