Ideas for Father’s Day

In case you haven’t started to think about it yet, here are some ideas for Father’s Day.

Is he a sports fan? …..

How about getting tickets to a game and go together as a family? If he’s a golf or tennis fan why not buy him private lessons with a professional?

With only a few days to go before the start of Wimbledon Championships 2011 we still have Centre Court and Number 1 Court debenture tickets available on all days.

How about Royal Ascot Ladies Day (16 June) in the Ascot Pavilion?

2 ‘ tickets only ‘ are available at the Oval One Day International on Tuesday 28 June, England v Sri Lanka, at £95 + VAT per ticket.

Henley Royal Regatta and Henley Festival are fast approaching and there is good availability on all days.

England take onWales at Twickenham in a pre-Rugby World Cup 2011 warm-up match on Saturday 6 August.

Or how about fast cars

Is he stressed?

Perhaps he’d enjoy a chance to rest and relax. The following specialise in male grooming…The Refinery , The Gentlemen’s Tonic ,

Male friends swear by wet shaves, try Trumpers or Pall Mall Barbers  as examples of the real thing.

Is he the Great Outdoorsman?

Cycling on or off road, hiking, camping, fishing, quad biking, survival skills…all outdoorsy. Try some of these sites for ideas : Cycle Routes , or some ideas in Hampshire . The Lea Valley is remarkably accessible with wildlife and Olympic sites being finalised.

Is he an Art Lover?

Concert or theatre tickets can be fun for everyone but remember this is his day so Take That or Justin Bieber tickets might not be his thing!

17 June -19 June Family Romeo & Juliet The O2 Arena London
22 June – 23 June Kings of Leon in Concert Hyde Park London
25 June Bon Jovi headline the Hard Rock Calling Festival Hyde Park London
26/28/29 June Glee Live in Concert  The O2 Arena London (our office is split down the middle on this one!)
30 June – 02 July Concert  Take That – The Progress Live 2011 Tour Wembley Stadium London (split on this one too!)

At the other end of the scale, what about tickets for the National Gallery’s Leonardo da Vinci exhibition opening 9 November. Numbers are being restricted so consider buying these for him now, and perhaps hand them to him over a lovely bowl of pasta… cooked by you or by someone else!

We have lots more ideas (birdbox in the shape of a caravan anyone?) so get in touch if you’d like us to help.
