Great chocolate is one of life’s simple and oh so wonderful pleasures and that is exactly what is on offer in La Maison Du Chocolat’s London flagship boutique on Piccadilly.
Each chocolate in the boutique has been chosen by expert chocolatiers, who have over thirty years’ experience of selecting only the finest chocolates. The expert team have created and developed an extensive range of delicious ganache, fruit chocolates, pralines, macarons, eclairs, tarts and cakes; each of which are sure to delight any sweet tooth especially Andrea’s, who was lucky enough to spend a couple of hours being treated to tasters one afternoon. She assures us she only accepted the invitation to make sure that she would be able to tell you personally how wonderful the chocolate is, and it is!
One of our current favourites is this incredibly cute Easter sheep; how could anyone possibly resist? Frisoton and Frisette star in La Maison Du Chocolat’s own Easter tale and, as well as being the most endearing chocolate animals we have ever seen, they are a great example of the master chocolatiers’ work. Filled with praline eggs, decorated with fleece made from rolled chocolate drops, sprayed chocolate wool, hand-painted daisies and horns and sitting on a chocolate soufflé field, these lambs are almost too beautiful to eat.
