3 Fabulous New London Hotels

We have mentioned the Editions hotel in one or two previous London hotel blogs but this time we have some great news – it is open and ready for guests. Created by the Marriott hotel group in collaboration with hotelier Ian Schrager, Editions hotels offer simple, sophisticated modern touches without compromising the classic feel of the historic building. If you do stay in Editions, don’t forget to visit the Berner’s Tavern restaurant, run by Jason Atherton of the Pollen Street Social and Social Eating House.

American hotel chain, Ace Hotels, opened their first UK branch earlier in September. The trendy hotel is, of course, in Shoreditch, where its fashionable style fits in perfectly with the hip surroundings. You may, however, be pleased to read that it is fashionable and trendy without being painfully try-hard. The new hotel doesn’t actually need to try hard, the rooms equipped with vintage furniture, original art, retro records, turntables and the all-important free Wi-Fi speak for themselves.

A 19th century warehouse in Soho has been very successfully transformed into a boutique hotel, offering affordable luxury to guests booking one of the 78 bedrooms. From Nespresso machines to charger sockets in reach of the bed (the lack of which is a common bug bear amongst hotel guests), the Nadler team have hit the jackpot when it comes to providing what guests really want.
