Thank you very much for your tremendous support that contributed to making WOI 2011 one of the best ever! We have received fantastic feedback from guests and sponsors and most of all we managed to raise over £105,000.

Our award winners, Lorraine Kelly and Helen Murdoch have no doubt inspired us all and we are proud that they now carry the cause forward for another year.

WOI is one of our biggest fundraising events in Scotland and has raised more than £700,000 since 2001. Many children, young people and their families have been helped by the money raised at WOI and this year’s money will be channelled towards tackling the many challenges caused by child neglect across Scotland.

This event not only raises money but also awareness of the many challenges that young people face on a daily basis and I’m sure you will be interested in checking out our new fundraising website www.myactionforchildren.org.uk. This exciting new initiative truly reaches the heart of our communities and anything you can do now or in the future will directly impact children in Scotland in need of help and support.
