Late December London popups
As we’ve been so busy with our fantastic (if we do say so ourselves) Christmas Angels service, we’re a little later than usual sharing details of the temporary bars, restaurants and events happening in London this month.
London Popups December 2015
An exclusive menu from Gizzi Erskine, Ronnie Scott musicians and the promise of outstanding entertainment – what better way to launch yourself into the festive season? Visit The Dome when it becomes a 1920s speakeasy champagne bar serving cocktails and seafood. The only choice you’ll need to make is whether to go for entertainment only or the full five course meal.
Until the end of March, the rooftop of the Queen of Hoxton will be a winter wonderland based on the works of the Brothers Grimm. Watch out for traces of Hansel and Gretel, Rapunzel, Little Red Riding Hood and more… One thing to note – Once Upon a Wigwam doesn’t accept reservations, so make sure to check opening hours before you rock up.
Fans of immersive experiences will be glad to hear there’s a new game in town – Moriarty’s Game. Will you accept the clues from James Moriarty, exploring architecture, art and Georgian drinking establishments on your way to finding his safe house? Moriarty’s Game is played in teams of up to four – be warned, there is a dress code.
If you have yet to make plans for Friday 18th, consider your mind made up. Curios Christmas party is back once more, and this time it’s a collaboration with Charterhouse Aquatics. If you like the sound of an evening of jazz, DJs, cocktails, mulled wine and a Christmas barbecue, this is where you need to be.
