Popup bars and restaurants in London – June 2016
Another new month means another selection of outstanding, and temporary, bars and restaurants dotted around London. The sun may not quite have realised that it is meant to warming us up but, even if it doesn’t make as much of an appearance, you’re sure to have a fantastic time at any one of these popups.

#AllGunsBlazing
Collaboration with Michelin-starred chefs for a ten-course tasting menu may sound like a very formal, perhaps slightly stuffy affair, but it’s most certainly not when it happens at #AllGunsBlazing. On 29th June, Ben Spalding will be teaming up with another expert chef to create an excellent dining experience, without any unnecessary pomp and splendour. One night only – book now to avoid disappointment
C Food
C Food? Seafood! Huge platters of it, in fact, served alongside plenty of wine, bread and homemade aioli, and accompanied by accordion music. Tickets to this Camberwell Mediterranean feast are sold in groups of four (those platters are made for sharing), with events happening every Sunday until August.
Cocktail Cruise
This sounds like a very enjoyable way to spend a few hours – cruising along the River Lea from Hackney, on board a boat filled with charcuterie, cheese, artisan breads and, of course, plenty of cocktails. If you fancy something different while you sit back, relax and enjoy the sunshine (fingers crossed!), the bar also serves prosecco, cider, beers and more.
NOW or Neverland
Less of a popup and more of an experience, NOW or Neverland is an immersive theatre experience hosted by Moet & Chandon. Victoria House in Bloomsbury will become home to an infinity room, a revolving bar, a pop-up photography studio and much more. Apparently, the best bits are a secret for now, and will need to be uncovered by those curious and brave enough to explore. To find out, book your place at the 11th June event.
