- Keep an eye on the Working Families website for some of their high-profile activities and events due to take place during the week
Go Home on Time Day 2014
This year’s Go Home on Time Day is Wednesday 24th September. That’s plenty of notice to let you reshuffle your calendar, streamline some of your less efficient processes and get out of the office bang on time.
Starting now, think about how you can start to work more efficiently, how you can help your employees and colleagues to do so and how you are all going to make a concerted effort to make it happen every day, not just that Wednesday!

In the meantime, here are a few top tips to get you on the right track:
- Start valuing your personal time and breaking that habit of staying in the office a couple of hours late every day. No matter who you are and what you do, your work is NOT the most important aspect of your life.
- Never schedule meetings for the last hour or so of the day – keep this time aside for tying up loose ends and preparing for tomorrow.
- Don’t take work home with you but DO use your commuting time to check, respond and delete emails using your phone or tablet. Just remember to switch it off as soon as you get home.
- Enlist our expert help to tweak those processes, stamp out those bad habits and make your life as productive and efficient as it can be. You’ll be surprised by how much free time you can harness when you put your mind (and our skills) to it!
