Pop-up Restaurants in London This Month

At the start of the month, we told you about some of our favourite pop-up bars in London for July. Today, it’s time to follow that with our pick of this month’s pop-up restaurants.  For some delicious food in an outdoor setting, to make the most of the recent good weather, pop along to one of these pop-ups. Be quick – they won’t be around forever!

Frank’s Café

We are willing to bet that abandoned multi-storey car parks in Peckham don’t usually rate amongst your places to be of an evening, but we are equally willing to bet that Frank’s Café is enough to tempt you along to one.  A far cry from the nefarious goings-on you may expect at a car park after dark, Frank’s Café offers a great place to catch up with friends, cold drinks on a balmy evening and a daily-changing selection of mouth-watering food.  For this fifth session of the annual pop-up, the menu at Frank’s includes ox heart kebab, grilled sweet corn, barbecued plantain and daily specials. Frank’s is open from now until 30th September.

Skate Kings Cross

This eight-week residency at West Handyside Canopy enables you to revisit your roller-disco days (or discover the wonders for the first time) while enjoying some fantastic fast food. During the day, Skate operates family-friendly sessions; with over-18s roller discos kicking in after 8pm. Disco Bistro will be supplying the quick eats, with guest chefs from Gizzi Erskine, Yum Bun, Street Kitchen and Lucky Chip appearing on selected evenings. Advance booking is advised but a number of tickets will be available on the door each day. Skate Kings Cross will run until 6th September.

A Night With The Mistress

For a night of decadence, naughtiness and edible gardens, pay a visit to Fenton House between 16th and 21st July for The Art of Dining’s latest pop-up venture. The evening will start with a welcome drink and a tour of Fenton House before guests are led to the secluded spot where the five course feast will be served. With songs from Dora Jordan and a wonderful setting full of foliage, flowers, taxidermy and bird song, it’s bound to be an unforgettable evening. Tickets for A Night with The Mistress are now available, priced at £55 per person.
