Popup bars and restaurants in London – October 2015
With Halloween around the corner, there are be some extra-special pop-ups popping up around London. Who can resist indulging in some ghoulishly ghastly gourmet goings-on?
If you prefer not to dress up and celebrate an ancient festival that has been adopted as an excuse to feed massive amounts of treats to children in disguise, fear not. London has, of course, got plenty in store for you too.
Dumb Supper, Bart’s Pathology Museum
This ancient custom, intended to honour the dead, will see guests enjoy a small three course meal without uttering a single word. Dining. In silence. Halloween or not, that sounds like absolute bliss…or not (there’s some debate in the office). There will be plenty of time for dancing and chatter afterwards though; you aren’t expected to be completely silent. As an extra bonus, the popup event includes time to view the museum’s rather Halloween-appropriate exhibits.

You may already have participated in this week’s event but, just in case you weren’t aware of its existence, London Cocktail Week is now on Running from 5th-11th October. The event includes pop-ups, cocktail tours, parties and a cocktail village. If you haven’t made it to any attractions yet, make sure to do so before it all ends on Sunday. Wristbands can be purchased online.

Dorian Gray’s Restoration involves the cast providing an excellent adaptation of the Wilde classic, while you enjoy yourself at one of the several bars and lounging areas built into Mr Gray’s townhouse.
