So long… farewell
Our lovely interns have finished their time with us. Here’s what Kirsten had to say about the experience…
Working with cushion the impact
Being a study abroad student in America, I remember coming to London in September feeling terrified. I knew nothing about the way I would be living for the next three months, who my friends would be, what working at cushion the impact would be like, or even who my flatmate would be.
Twelve weeks later, I am off to my home in New York. London has been amazing to me. From the architecture, to the history, to the people, to the beautiful lights decorating the streets, I am truly sad to be leaving.
One aspect in particular that added to my experience, here in London, is working at cushion the impact. It is like I made my own little family here, in this office. Working with Briana, Jules, and Andrea everyday has created memories for me that I will never forget. Sure, we got work done… but more importantly, we laughed and created family-like relationships that will last. Working for cushion as an intern has been an amazing experience, and I am very sad to be leaving. Having “drinkies” with my colleagues on my last night just instilled the idea that for the past three months I have been working with not only my colleagues, but my friends.
I want to thank you, Andrea and Jules, for making me and Briana feel at home, here in London. It only added to our wonderful experience, and we will miss you so much.
