The client – Australian couple moving to London
Jenny and Harrold are clients for the second time round. They used cushion the impact when we started. In the meantime they moved to Australia for a few years. Before their return they asked us to help look for a house to buy. As both work from home, the brief included office space and an area to welcome clients. We put together a selection of suitable properties and the couple, still abroad, chose two they were interested in. We arranged a video conference with the estate agent and a virtual tour of the properties. A couple of weeks later Jenny was able to come to London to sign the contract on one of the suggested properties. She returned and left us with instructions to organise everything for them to move in within two months. We set up utilities, received their furniture and personal possessions shipped from Sydney, put away their belongings, made sure the fridge was full of fresh food and a bunch of flowers made them feel at home when they arrived back in London. Now we’re arranging the house warming party!
