You will be all too familiar with the fact that we have a very limited summer here in Britain, so why not make the most of it while you can? Some of the best locations for July holidays are right here in the UK. Cornwall has long been a firm favourite with holidaymakers who are subscribing to the “staycation” trend, and with very good reason. Surfing, family holidays and relaxing breaks in the sun are all more than possible on the beautiful Cornish coast.
If you are looking for a lot of adventure on your holiday, add Vancouver Island in Canada to your shortlist. River rafting, kayaking, caving, zip-lining and bungee jumping are just a few of the exhilarating activities on offer, while the golfing, fishing, nature and spas will please the more risk-averse members of your party.

Edinburgh is definitely worth a spot on your holiday to-do list. August is the perfect time to visit as the festival season will be in full swing. Wander along the charming cobbled streets, enjoying the rich history and variety of entertainment. Explore Edinburgh Castle, be wowed by Camera Obscura or visit the Scottish Parliament at Holyrood. If you’re feeling particularly energetic, Arthur’s Seat is always a possibility.
The Emerald Coast is not only for the rich and famous, it is a perfect location for a stunning, unforgettable holiday for anyone who loves idyllic beaches, secluded coves and unrivalled beauty. That’ll be pretty much everyone then! The Costa Smeralda’s 55 kilometre coastline includes 80 bays of pinkish-white sand and water just calling out for you to dip in. Need we say more?
